Despite his age, Ben Proudlove could be considered something of a veteran of the UK dance music scene. Promoter of Liverpool’s much loved ‘Superfly’, which was a whopping 7 years old in November ’10, he DJs around the UK alone and as part of ‘Superfly DJs’, at nights such as the world famous Chibuku Shake Shake and abroad in countries like Ibiza and Italy. Ben has shared booths with countless world-class names from across the dance music spectrum over the years such as The Klaxons, Grandmaster Melle Mel, High Contrast, Erol Alkan, Digitalism, DJ Yoda and Alex Metric, due to his eclectic taste, impeccable track selection and boundless energy. He has rocked Wakestock for the last few years and we look forward to welcoming him back! More after the jump!
Not ones to go halfway this year, we’ve also pulled in Dash to complete the booking. Another member of the Superfly DJs and resident at Chibuku, Dash was crowned the UK Corona DJ champ a few years back, representing the UK at the global finals in Marrakech. Dash has played alongside the great and the good of the dance music fraternity - Fake Blood, Popof, Justice, Simian Mobile Disco, James Lavelle and Norman Jay. Recently, the man has gone from strength to strength, smashing Mark Ronson’s Sunday Best gig, The Strongbow Rooms at the monolithic V Festival and the MTV European Music Awards Official After-party alongside Yousef and The Stanton Warriors.
